The role
An outstanding opportunity has arisen to become a key member of the Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Guildford.
The team manages Rural Estates and provides a range of professional rural advice. Their technical expertise attracts an impressive client base, including some of the most prestigious clients in the area. The role will involve a blend of estate management and professional work within a team.
Responsibilities
1. Acting as principal agent for a selection of key estate management clients
2. Undertaking estate and farming business reviews
3. Assisting clients with the promotion of strategic land
4. Secured lending and other professional valuations
5. Managing and leading a high-performing team
6. Maintaining a strong and prestigious client base
Key Skills
1. Competent and experienced MRICS qualified rural surveyor with experience across various projects
2. Demonstrates team leadership potential and ability to build relationships with clients and generate new opportunities
3. Maintains a composed manner to work effectively under pressure
4. Good time management and workload prioritization skills
5. Ability to meet deadlines accurately and with attention to detail
6. Excellent communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with team members, colleagues, and clients
7. Confident manner with clients and team members
8. Flexible approach to work and hours
9. Understanding of confidentiality issues and discretion
Person Specification
Qualifications:
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent at minimum
* Full, valid driving license
Experience
* Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience working to deadlines
* Managing a team
