We are now seeking a dedicated, hard working Parts Advisor, proficient in exemplary customer service, to join our team in Portadown.PARTS ADVISORLocation: Newry premisesHours of work: Monday Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and alternate Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pmTHE ROLEAs a Parts Advisor, you will provide an excellent service to our internal and external customers on a daily basis and in a timely manner.The role involves:-Selling parts to internal & external customers to achieve to the agreed targetsOptimising sales opportunitiesOrder taking via the telephone, email and face to faceOrder pickingCarrying out daily / weekly stock checkingSystematically arranging the parts in the stock roomAssisting with the pre-picking of parts for service workshop teamDelivering parts to our trade customersTHE PERSONThe ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. It is essential for the successful candidate to have a valid clean driving licence as you may on occasions be required to deliver parts to our customers.Preference will be given to applicants with 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role within the motor industry. We may however consider applicants with previous customer facing experience from other industries who have knowledge and interest in vehicle layout, function and location of required parts for service and common repairs.
