Duties

* Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute meal preparation efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
* Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
* Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
* Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Previous kitchen experience is preferred, with the ability to work under pressure during busy service times.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
