We have a great opportunity for a Quality Technician to join our Quality Team working within both the PB & MDF business units.
Dayshift Role, 40 hours per week.
The successful applicant will:
* Perform routine sampling and testing across the product ranges
* Cyclic testing, weight checks, WESP testing, Grit Analysis, TEF testing
* Perform sampling & QC testing on Incoming Recycled Wood/Fines
* Assist in root cause investigations and generate reports
Qualifications/Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar or related role within a continuous production environment is desirable
* Proficient in the use of lab equipment and instrumentation is desirable
* Highly motivated, effective when working unsupervised.
* Able to follow an agreed course of action with minimal ongoing support.
* Problem solving skills.
* Flexibility in relation to working hours.
* Ability to produce QC test results in timely manner, to meet production demands.
* Experience with data analysis methodologies and writing technical reports.
* Clear communication skills.
* Ensures safe working practices at all times.
* Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
* PC skills, for update of electronic lab management systems to reflect current test / calibration status & reporting.
* Organised person with excellent time management skills.
* Comfortable with being both an accountable and responsible person
