About the role
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in our Operational Team, supporting the Site Manager to safely deliver social housing and construction developments, upholding strict quality control measures, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements and carrying out site management tasks. We have a current opportunity at our Wallyford project in East Lothian.
Key roles and responsibilities include;
Walk the site regularly to review and ensure quality, progress, safety, etc. Have at length discussions with subcontractors regards progress and performance.
Produce snagging lists and ensure final sign off on all works for each build stage and liaise with the Clerk of Works throughout.
Assist the Site Manager in appraising and managing the site staff and direct labour, as well as overseeing any agency workers contracted to the business.
Work closely with your Site Manager on recording labour on site daily, and complete Weekly Labour Reports and send to Site Management each week.
