We offer fully accredited John Deere apprenticeships in Land Based Engineering in either:
Agriculture - emphasis on agricultural machinery
Turf Machinery - emphasis on machines used by sports turf businesses and garden machinery
What we're looking for:
* A keen interest in agriculture or turf machinery
* No prior experience required; however, a willingness to learn is essential.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
* We require a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 (or above) in both Maths and English.
2026 Apprentice Intake
We would like to hear from you if you’re interested in an apprenticeship starting in September 2026. The following depots have a vacancy (you will need to be able to commute to the depot on a daily basis):
Ardleigh, Essex - CO7 7LG
Baldock, Hertfordshire - SG7 5DP (a new depot in Newnham (just outside Baldock) which will be opening in 2026)
Worlingworth, Suffolk - IP13 7HU
Hours: 39 or 40 hours per week, depending on location
