Equans is looking for a Multiskilled Civils Operative to join our team in Shurton, Somerset for our EDF contracts on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
Able to prepare & manage personal work packages, & problem solve through to completion.
Understand & apply safe working practices in a challenging environment.
Able to understand and carry out point of work risk assessments.
Contribute to setting to works/ De- briefs and overall team discussions when required.
Flexible and able to respond to new directives and challenges.

Problem solve in challenging situations.
Able to prepare quantities of materials and arrange prices from suppliers.
To deliver a variety of civil biased skills including but not limited to concrete and reinforcement, groundworks, building fabric repairs.
Able to work in a physically demanding environment including confined spaces and work at height.

Time Served Carpenter/Joiner
Demonstrable General Civils / Building Fabric/ Maintenance skills to a high quality
Experience of working in both an industrial and construction environment.
Can read, understand and apply safe working practices in a challenging, high pressured environment.
Preferable:
Plumbing experience, Plastering, experience in the general building/maintenance sector
Qualifications or Required Experience:
Time Served Joiner/ Carpenter (Essential)
General Building/ Maintenance Experience.
