The Matron is responsible for implementing the Trusts strategy and objectives within the Anaesthetics Directorate, ensuring services are standardised across all relevant areas to deliver consistently high-quality care for all patients. The role supports the planning and management of services to optimise the use of resources and contributes to the development of a sustainable, safe workforce that is fit for the future within their area of responsibility.
