Part-Time Housekeeper – Ripley, Surrey (GU23)

Schedule: 2 days per week, approximately 16 hours in total

Our clients, a professional couple relocating to Ripley (GU23), are seeking an experienced and reliable Part-time Housekeeper to help maintain their new home to a high standard. This is a long-term position suited to someone who takes pride in creating a calm, well-organised, and welcoming environment.
Duties will include:
1. High-standard cleaning and general housekeeping throughout the home
2. Laundry and ironing
3. Changing and making bed linens in the main bedroom (guest rooms only when requested)
4. Keeping cupboards, wardrobes, and shelves tidy and well-organised
5. Fridge and freezer cleaning, food rotation, and general kitchen organisation
6. Receiving and putting away grocery deliveries (including safely securing the family cat before opening the door)
7. Accepting other deliveries and parcels, and keeping track of where items are placed
8. Cleaning two litter trays once per month (training will be provided)
9. Small errands, such as dropping off and collecting dry cleaning
10. Being gentle, attentive, and mindful of the family’s indoor cat at all times — she must remain indoors
Candidate requirements:
11. Previous housekeeping experience in a private home
12. Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
13. Reliable, trustworthy, and well-organised
14. Comfortable around pets (cat in residence)
15. Intermediate level of English preferred; Italian would be a bonus but is not essential
16. Must be self-employed
