Youll also play a vital role in the resident journey from initial assessment and move-in to the ongoing review of individual care plans. Key responsibilities include: Leading and supporting your care team, providing clear direction, mentoring, and performance management. Acting as an advocate for residents, ensuring their rights, dignity, and best interests are always upheld. Overseeing safe and effective medication management, audits, and GP liaison. Supporting clinical governance through audits, action plans, and regulatory compliance. Handling safeguarding, concerns, and complaints in a professional and compassionate manner. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the home to create a warm, positive, and person-centred environment. What were looking for Were looking for a qualified and registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration, who can bring both clinical expertise and proven leadership experience within elderly care or a similar environment. Youll be: A strong leader with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop teams. Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise, make decisions and stay calm under pressure. Compassionate and approachable, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Knowledgeable in CQC requirements and compliance, with a good understanding of safe practice and quality standards. IT-literate, confident in using care planning systems, and committed to continuous improvement. Above all, youll be kind, empathetic and genuinely passionate about delivering person-centred care.
