Overview
Business Support Administrator position within Cumberland Council’s People Directorate, supporting Adults. Location: West Cumbria House/Cumbria House, 60/40 office/working from home split. Salary: £28,598 - £29,540 per annum. Hours: 25 hours per week. Contract: Permanent.
This role is suitable for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and provides efficient administrative support. You’ll take minutes in statutory safeguarding meetings, manage meeting setups and mailbox activity, support the safeguarding team and wider adult social care with a range of administrative duties, action case closures on the IAS system, and handle filing and record management. You’ll be an integral part of a busy, hardworking, friendly team.
Responsibilities
* Take minutes in statutory safeguarding meetings
* Coordinate meeting setups and mailbox management
* Provide administrative support to the safeguarding team and wider adult social care
* Action case closures on the IAS system
* Filing and record management
* Other related administrative duties as required
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent experience)
* Strong minute-taking abilities
* Excellent time management
* Proficiency in ICT
* Strong literacy skills
* Flexible attitude
