Job Title: Specification Manager (Lighting / M&E)
Location: Remote - covering Devon, Cornwall, and South Somerset
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 + Uncapped Commission + Remote Working + Regional Travel + Company Car + Progression + Training + Benefits
Company: Market-leading manufacturer of innovative lighting products, with 550 employees and £80m turnover, expanding their UK Specification team.
Job Description:
This autonomous role involves managing existing accounts (60%) and developing new business (40%) within the construction industry. You will provide lighting solutions, some design responsibilities, and manage your own schedule, traveling 3-4 days weekly to meet clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities through contacts, referrals, and market awareness.
2. Collaborate with marketing to generate leads.
3. Strengthen relationships with existing clients and promote company strategies.
4. Engage with customers face-to-face, via phone, and email to understand and meet their needs.
5. Coordinate quotations with the commercial team.
6. Perform some design tasks.
7. Attend quarterly office visits.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience as a Specification Manager or similar in Lighting / M&E.
* Willing to cover Devon, Cornwall, and South Somerset.
