Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with GM, HODs, Management Company, and Hotel Owner on operational, legal, and financial aspects, including system, policy, and procedure updates.
2. Ensure report accuracy and financial account integrity.
3. Manage assets in line with company and owner policies.
4. Maintain expenses within budgets, reporting major variances with explanations.
5. Plan and manage departmental training programs.
6. Coordinate with Revenue Manager & Sales team on yield strategies.
7. Oversee billing, cash control, float balances, and guest account management.
8. Implement and oversee accounting control procedures.
9. Manage operational procedures and systems for accounting, purchasing, F&B cost control, payroll, etc.
10. Prepare and submit reports such as daily/weekly reports, controller reports, forecasts, P&L accounts, year-end accounts, budgets, and audit responses.
11. Ensure control systems for sales ledger, inventories, cash handling, bank deposits, reconciliations, payroll, and currency exchange are in place and effective.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience in accounts/finance within a hotel setting.
* Experience with Guestline PMS is advantageous but not essential.
