HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
The Director of Marketing will own the enterprise marketing and growth agenda to ensure SmartSearch scales market-led growth. The role provides the Growth/Marketing lens at SLT level, balancing positioning, brand narrative, demand mix and efficiency as the business moves toward category leadership and multi-channel scale.
VARIED DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Act as the Growth/Marketing lens at SLT level, ensuring growth decisions are market-led
* Define and execute category positioning and brand narrative
* Lead brand architecture decisions (master brand vs hybrid) with explicit trade-offs
* Own multi-channel demand generation and funnel performance
* Partner with Sales and Product/Technology on go-to-market and proposition clarity
* Build marketing operating model, cadence, team structure and agency mix
* Own performance measurement, insight and ROI discipline
* Regular SLT agenda leadership on market signal, positioning and demand efficiency, with evidence-based challenge to growth assumptions and priorities
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?
* Senior B2B marketing leadership in SaaS, technology or regulated markets
* Proven experience building multi-channel growth engines
* Track record in positioning, category narrative and brand leadership
* Experience leading brand architecture or rebrand decisions
* Strong commercial and analytical discipline
* Executive presence and ability to operate at SLT level
Desirable experience
* Experience in PE-backed or exit-oriented environments
* M&A or multi-brand integration experience
* Partnerships or channel-led growth experience
