Our Tax Technology team is dynamic and fast-paced, offering opportunities for progression and the chance to influence RSM nationally and globally, driving digital transformation within the Tax business.
As a Tax Technology Associate Director in our national offices, you will join a passionate team of tax technology professionals. You will work at a strategic level, designing roadmaps, solution architecture, resource allocation, governance, and launch processes across our Tax business. You will lead client proposals, manage relationships with large global accounts, and oversee project delivery in technology implementation, bespoke data and AI solutions, Pillar Two technology, and SaaS products. The role offers autonomy and reports directly to the Tax Technology Partner team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver complex technology projects and manage product delivery.
* Contribute to the development of our tax technology service offerings.
* Lead our technology team, focusing on tax products and data consulting.
* Engage in client RFPs and technology proposals.
* Develop technical expertise through personal development.
* Assist in developing business development materials and content to showcase our solutions.
What We Are Looking For:

* Has experience in tax technology deployment and consulting within a professional services environment.
* Understands core tax processes, including corporation tax compliance.
* Has a strong track record in customer relationship management.
* Is familiar with pricing, marketing, support, and incident response models for SaaS and bespoke solutions.
* Knows risk management procedures related to tax technology implementations.
* Has experience leading client accounts and managing teams.
* Possesses excellent communication skills and IT proficiency, especially in data flows within tax processes.
* Is quick to learn new systems and aware of emerging technologies and client needs.
* Can lead workshops and work effectively in virtual and local teams.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in tax technology project delivery within professional services.
* Knowledge of tax compliance processes.
* Technical skills in Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, data security, and AI.
* Experience in delivering client proposals and managing client relationships.
* Team management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Alteryx certification (Advanced or Expert).
* Tax technology qualifications (DITT, etc.) and technical qualifications (ATT, CTA, ICAEW).
* Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
* Experience in developing AI, ML, RPA technologies.
