Role info:
Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join the team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be working on licensing agreements, sponsorship agreements and brand placement licences. In this role, the chosen candidate will draft and negotiate the client’s rights, agreements and sponsorship deals in tandem with our client’s business development and brand management teams.
Role Description:
* Analyse, review, draft and negotiate agreements for a wide variety of third-party contractual relationships with the client’s partners, including services, sales, advertising, licensing, image rights, distribution and manufacturing agreements.
* Provide answers to investigations & inquiries from the government and/or regulatory authority.
* Advise local teams on a wide range of legal issues, with a focus on business and operational topics.
* Collaborate with internal business units to support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.
Responsibilities

* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.
Ideal Candidate
* A 5-year PQE + Commercial Lawyer.
* With the ability to action instructions from assignments and general policies.
* A proven ability to independently manage and own projects, duties, and tasks.
* A lawyer who can organise workflow and deadlines efficiently.
* A detail-oriented, problem-solver who can work under tight deadlines.
* Experience in media and/or entertainment law is desirable, but not essential.
* Broad employment experience is also desirable.
Location: Ideally Sheffield (Open to remote)
Work pattern: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
PQE Range: 5+
Length of assignment: 1 year
Pay rate: Dependent on candidate, if selected, you will be asked to submit your expected salary
