Role Overview
As a
Service Desk Analyst
, you'll be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing timely and effective support to end users. You'll handle hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the initial contact for IT support, logging and resolving incidents and service requests.
* Provide 1st line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely or escalate to 2nd/3rd line support as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
* Monitor and manage End User Compute equipment stock levels.
* Request and coordinate procurement of additional IT hardware when required.
* Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
About You
* Previous experience in a 1st line IT support or service desk role.
* Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* ITIL Foundation or similar certification (desirable but not essential).
