Alongside unforgettable weddings, we also host private celebrations, corporate events, and conferences, delivering exceptional service and attention to detail.
We are now looking for a Senior Wedding & Events Sales Manager to join our team, taking the lead in proactively driving sales, growing corporate business, and maximising our wedding and events revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively generate new business through networking, sales calls, and building local partnerships.
* Drive corporate business, developing strong relationships with local companies and key decision-makers.
* Assist the Wedding and Events Manager in managing all incoming wedding & event enquiries, show rounds, and client meetings with professionalism and warmth.
* Create tailored proposals, guiding couples and clients from enquiry through to the event.
* Work closely with the Wedding and Events Manager and operations team to ensure seamless handover and delivery of events.
* Represent Mere Court Hotel at wedding fairs, showcases, networking events, and corporate exhibitions.
About You:
* Experience in driving corporate business and achieving revenue targets.
* Proven track record in proactive sales within weddings, events, or hospitality.
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
* Passionate about weddings and events, with excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships.
* Flexible and enthusiastic, willing to work evenings and weekends as required for appointments and events.
