Quality Engineer – Ilfracombe – £45,000 – plus relocation allowance, pension, corporate benefits and bonus
Melbreck Technical are working with a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist equipment, based in North Devon in Ilfracombe.

As a Quality Engineer, you will identify and resolve quality issues, lead continuous improvement initiatives within cross‑functional teams, and act with a high degree of autonomy as a driver of positive change across the business.
Role Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001
* Maintain the QMS
* PPAP Submission Management
* Ensure that project and/or process control documentation is compliant
* Lead programmes to assess quality performance
* Development of a “right first time” culture
Skills and Experience Requirements
* Previous experience as a Quality Engineer
* Strong analytical capabilities
* Strong working knowledge and experience of using problem solving techniques
* Internal Auditor Qualified
* Degree Qualified or Level 6 Quality Assurance qualification
* Six Sigma Qualification would be a distinct advantage
