Overview
Our friendly District Nursing team in Bridport and Lyme is looking for a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse to join their team. Full training and support will be offered to the successful candidate. We are looking for dynamic, motivated individuals who wish to provide a high standard of nursing care to people in their own homes.
The successful individual must be able to drive and have access to a car.
Responsibilities
* Provide high standard of nursing care to people in their own homes.
* The role includes wound care, palliative care, IV drug administration, medication/injection administration, diabetes management and many other diverse skills.
* There will be an expectation for the successful candidate to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays pro rata. Our late shift covers until 8pm.
Requirements
* Must be able to drive and have access to a car.
* Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
* Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are ineligible to apply for this position.
