Year 3 Class Teacher (Full-Time)
Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Westminster, who are seeking a passionate Lower KS2 Teacher to take on a Year 3 class.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and committed teacher who understands the importance of a strong transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2, and can bring learning to life in a nurturing, engaging classroom.
About the Role
You will take full responsibility for a vibrant Year 3 class, delivering high-quality, inclusive lessons that support pupils as they move from the structure of KS1 into the more independent learning expectations of KS2.
The school values curiosity, creativity and high expectations, and you will play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, resilience and strong foundations in core subjects during this important stage of their learning journey.
This is a full-time position, offering consistency within the classroom and the opportunity to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community.
This role is suitable for experienced teachers and confident ECTs who are eager to grow within a supportive KS2 team.
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in KS1 or Lower KS2, ideally Year 3
• Strong understanding of the Lower KS2 curriculum and progression in core subjects
• Confident with planning, assessment and differentiation
• Ability to support pupils transitioning from KS1 learning styles into KS2 expectations
• A nurturing, positive classroom presence
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
