Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking for a new opportunity? Halton Council are currently seeking a temporary Band 5 OT to join their team. You will assess individuals of all ages with physical disabilities, illness, or injury to determine needs and eligibility for support. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement treatment plans to enhance independence and improve quality of life. To undertake assessments to determine appropriate interventions and / or referral to other health and social care services where interventions are designed to promote recovery and maximise independence. To give advice and arrange support for family members, carers and those who support service-users. To keep records of service-user progress (using approved computer records systems), recommending referrals to other services as appropriate, adapting to changes in need and circumstances or ceasing interventions no longer needed. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time, which are commensurate with the grade of the job.What We Are Looking For: Occupational Therapist with relevant registration.
