On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Technical Business Analyst for a 6 Month contract based in London.
The Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join the Financial Crime Intelligence Unit of a leading Financial Services organisation. This is a cross-functional, agile environment, working closely with developers, solution architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions from inception through to deployment.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and proven experience in financial crime and data analysis within complex financial services environments.
Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into epics, features, and user stories.
Develop and maintain feature roadmaps in line with programme goals.
Perform data analysis to ensure requirements are well-defined, tangible, and actionable.
Work within a Scaled Agile / SCRUM framework, actively participating in ceremonies and ensuring agile best practices are followed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and architects, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Use Jira and Confluence to manage requirements, documentation, and progress tracking.
Write and execute SQL queries and work with Oracle databases for data validation and analysis.
Support requirements gathering around visual data elements, ideally with experience in Tableau and Looker.
Contribute to data mapping and work with both physical and logical data models.
Ensure effective stakeholder communication at all levels, producing clear documentation and status reporting.
Key Accountabilities, Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst within Financial Services.
Strong background in financial crime or anti-financial crime projects.
Proficient in SQL queries, BigQuery, and Oracle.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
Proven ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements (epics, features, user stories).
Experience in Scaled Agile / SCRUM environments.
Strong data analysis skills, including data mapping and working with physical and logical data models.
