You’ll be working across a range of schools in Bury St Edmunds and nearby areas, delivering engaging physics lessons and supporting pupils’ learning across KS3 and KS4.
Duties as Physics Teacher
* Deliver pre-planned physics lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners and school environments
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
* Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
* Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
* Collaborate with school staff to support pupil development
Ideal Physics Teacher
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Experience teaching physics in UK secondary schools
* Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Physics Teacher
* Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
* Passionate about science and committed to pupil progress
