Driver Hire Teesside is recruiting a Class 2 ADR Driver for a temp‑to‑perm opportunity based in Stockton‑on‑Tees.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking for long‑term work with a well‑established business operating within a specialist and regulated environment.
The role will involve UK‑wide deliveries and collections, including chemical deliveries to customer sites. Occasional nights out and weekend work may be required depending on operational needs.
The Role
* Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
* UK‑wide deliveries and collections
* Delivering chemicals to customer sites
* Collecting empty IBCs and kegs
* Ensuring loads are secured correctly and checked against transport documents
* Managing transport paperwork, including MSDS and delivery documentation
* Completing pump‑overs from IBCs to customer tanks
* Liaising with customers and site contacts
* Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checksMaintaining vehicle cleanliness and equipment standards
* Working safely in line with method statements, risk assessments and site rules
The ideal candidate will be

* Able to follow written and verbal instructions
* Safety‑conscious and detail‑focused
Requirements
Essential:
* Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
* Valid ADR
* Valid Driver CPC
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
Desirable:
* Dangerous goods handling experience
* FLT licence
* General IT / app‑based reporting experience
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* 37.5 hours per week
* Occasional nights out may be required
* Occasional weekend work may be required
