Cover Supervisor x 3 - Caerleon Comprehensive School
Salary: Grade 5, SCP 12 - 17, £27,711 - £30,060 pro rata
Caerleon Comprehensive School is seeking to appoint motivated, organized, and dedicated individuals to the role of Cover Supervisor. We have three permanent vacancies for this position.
Job Details:

* 32.5 hours per week, term time only
* Working hours: 8.30 am - 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday
* Start date: September 2025
You will oversee classes during teachers' short-term absences and may assist with additional duties such as examination invigilation and general administration.
Previous experience as a Teacher or Cover Supervisor is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong classroom management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
The position is full-time, working during school term time. Holidays should be taken during school holiday periods.

Note: Due to the opening of an additional school site in Caerleon, Ysgol Bryn Derw is also seeking to appoint a caretaker to work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for 52 weeks per year. Holidays are to be taken during school holiday periods.
This role requires registration with the EWC and is subject to a DBS check, as it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974).
