BluePool Computer Services Ltd are looking for a IT Support Engineer. We are an IT company based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire and have been established for over 22 years with a customer base across Yorkshire and beyond. We provide companies with IT Support Services to a wide variety of industries and businesses; we provide a complete service that begins with a consultation through to implementation and support. We work closely with leading software and hardware manufacturers to provide a complete service to our customers. The Role: You will be primarily working as first line support and will pro-actively monitor, escalate, and pursue outstanding Helpdesk calls to ensure that they are responded to promptly. The calls are followed through to resolution within agreed services levels, whilst providing the highest level of customer service. Throughout this process you will ensure customers are kept fully informed of the progress of their Helpdesk calls and they are satisfied with the resolution when completed. You will be primarily based in our office in Doncaster after an initial probationary period there will be scope for hybrid working. The Candidate: You must be friendly and want to get involved with all aspects of the business and have a keen drive to learn new technologies and work with your team to deliver results. You will fit in with a small close-knit team and want to play a key part in achieving goals and targets. Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience working in a Helpdesk environment. Good timekeeping. Experience of being the first point of contact for inbound customer calls/emails/messages received into the Helpdesk. Great customer service skills. Someone who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment and can cope with balancing the needs of different customers. Maintains an extremely positive attitude and demonstrates a high attention to detail. Problem/Incident management, and the ability to get to the root cause of issues. Immediately flag major incidents and escalate accordingly. Ability to logically troubleshoot issues and investigate larger issues. Windows 10 and 11, Android & IOS Microsoft Office 365 Basic Network Troubleshooting Shows a high standard of spoken & written English to enable good communications with our customers and suppliers. Full driving UK license The Package: Permanent, full-time position 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum 22 days holiday plus statutory.
