Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and mechanical repairs across a diverse range of vehicles
- Identify and rectify electrical and mechanical faults using advanced diagnostic software and equipment
- Assemble and dismantle vehicle components, including engines, gearboxes, interior and exterior trims, and suspension systems
- Perform wheel alignments, suspension setups, and vehicle geometry adjustments to manufacturer standards
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service
- Stay updated with technological advancements through ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair centre or automotive workshop environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive troubleshooting approach
- Relevant automotive repair qualifications; ATA certification is highly desirable
