Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join, or to further develop your career within the innovative South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Performance and Support Service Team. We are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant, responsible for line managing a team of admin staff, and liaising with internal colleagues and external agencies to arrange and provide a range of specialist and general clerical tasks.
This is a rewarding role that offers opportunity for personal development and allows you to positively contribute towards South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnerships public service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Undertaking performance appraisals and managing attendance
* Identifying learning and development requirements for your team
* Planning, monitoring and controlling workflow
* Running statistical reports for analysis
* Liaising with managers to provide effective support to ensure timescales and deadlines are met
Within this role you will require excellent communication skills and be able to build positive working relationships with admin and operational staff and managers. You should demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate work effectively. Flexibility in your approach is essential to meet the demands of the post.
