We are looking for a Telematics Data Analyst to join our Pricing and Underwriting team working in the Telematics team which covers all aspects of Telematics from the driving/policy data and driver score through to data analytics and pricing.
The role will play a key part in developing on our base of reports and analytics as we continue to enhance them and take them to the next level.
Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Liverpool City Centre with Hybrid working available
Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm
What you will be doing:
* Proactive member of the team - be a go to person to support the wider business and Telematics team.
* Monitor Telematics performance and report on any potential risks or opportunities identified.
* Design and produce regular reporting and analysis to help management to better understand the type and quality of the business being written.
* Responsible for the accuracy and quality of data and analysis.
* Regularly evaluate existing reports and find improvements.
* Seek to develop new methods of analyzing and communicating whilst ensuring quality of output is maintained.
* Provide ad hoc MI as required in a timely manner.
What we are looking for:
* Experience with data manipulation and analysis in SQL, Power BI etc.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, particularly Excel.
* High-Level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Solid understanding of data visualisation techniques and best practices.
* Industry knowledge / experience is preferred but not essential
