Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, plus cash car allowance

About the Role:
Hargreaves Logistics is entering an exciting phase of accelerated growth and investment. With more than £5 million of new vehicles joining our fleet over the next two months, we are strengthening our driver resourcing capability to ensure we have a skilled, compliant and fully supported professional driver workforce in place.
We are looking for an experienced Driver Resource Manager to lead the recruitment, resourcing and onboarding of drivers across a diverse fleet of 100+ vehicles, including walking floors, tippers and low loaders. This is a pivotal role that will shape the future of our driver operations and support our continued expansion.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Conduct regular volume telephone calls with drivers to discuss opportunities, understand their experience and provide a clear, honest picture of what it’s like to work for Hargreaves
2. Manage the full end to end recruitment process for HGV drivers across multiple vehicle types
3. Develop and deliver a proactive driver resourcing strategy aligned to rapid fleet growth
4. Partner with the Internal Talent Acquisition team to attract, assess and secure high quality candidates
5. Work closely with Operations to understand fleet requirements, shift patterns and operational demands
6. Collaborate with the Driver Training Manager to ensure smooth onboarding, induction and ongoing driver development
7. Maintain full compliance with licensing, CPC and regulatory requirements
8. Build strong relationships with driver agencies and external suppliers
9. Monitor recruitment metrics, pipeline health and driver availability to ensure operational continuity
10. Plan, organise and attend driver recruitment days, open days and assessment events as part of a proactive attraction strategy
11. Engage with candidates outside of standard working hours where required to meet driver availability and operational demand
What We’re Looking for:
12. Proven experience in driver recruitment, driver resourcing, transport workforce management or as a professional driver
13. Strong understanding of LGV operations, driver compliance and licensing standards
14. Experience supporting large or growing fleets (100+ vehicles desirable)
15. Collaborative, stakeholder focused and confident working cross functionally
16. Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
17. Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
18. Flexible and comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends, depending on driver availability and operational needs - with time off in lieu provided
