We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Manager to join our team.
Experience in a busy Bar & Brasserie and a good knowledge of wine and cocktails is essential and 2 years Supervisory experience is preferred.
The role is contracted at 37.5 hours per week, however more hours are available and will cover a mixture of shifts, therefore candidates must be available for weekdays and weekends.
Live in accommodation can be available for this role.
Key Tasks
* You shall lead the development, identity & performance of the brasserie and busy bar.
* You will be a senior member of the Food & Beverage Management team, providing guests with a distinctive, warm, professional and intuitive service
* To oversee, lead and develop the busy bar area in the hotel
* To recruit, train & develop your bar team
* To help support and guide the team and encourage them to support one another
* Preparation of the Bar & Brasserie ahead of service to ensure guest comfort
* Offer expert product knowledge to guests
* Support the Management team in the smooth operation
Candidate Requirements
* 2 Years previous experience in a guest facing role within a 4 or 5* hotel preferred; alternatively experience leading a quality bar/ restaurant operation.
* A team player with excellent organisational and time management skills and a welcoming demeanor;
* Impeccable attention to detail;
* Ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a positive and can-do attitude;
* Guest focused with a genuine passion for delivering sensational service
* Excellent spoken English and have immaculate presentation skills
