Telesales assistant

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Telesales Assistant to join a busy and growing motor industry business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and sales skills who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and thrives on achieving targets.

Responsibilities

As a Telesales Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting customers, generating sales opportunities, and building strong client relationships over the phone. You will work within a target‑driven environment while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accurate records using internal systems.

• Handling inbound and outbound sales calls
• Providing excellent customer service and product support
• Working towards monthly sales targets
• Processing orders and updating customer information
• Using Microsoft Office and internal systems daily
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Supporting the wider sales team where required

Qualifications

• Essential motor industry knowledge
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work well under pressure
• Confidence working towards targets
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Previous experience within a similar role (desirable)
• Welsh language skills (desirable but not essential)
• A positive and proactive attitude

Remuneration and Working Hours

In return you will receive a salary up to £31,500 (depending on experience), working 45 hours a week, Monday‑Friday with rotational Saturdays (to be discussed). Initially on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
