Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised, group support in Maths for Secondary students. These in-person sessions in Kensington offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
* This job is in-person in the Kensington and Chelsea area
* Hour(s): up to 13 hours per week
* Day(s) and Time(s) Monday - Friday, school hours
* Subjects and Level: KS3 - GCSE Maths
* Start date: Start of January 2026
* Contract length: Until March 2026
* Rate of pay: £35 p/hr
What You'll Do
* Provide group tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
* Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
* Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
* Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
* Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
* A Bachelor’s degree
* Qualified Teacher Status
* 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience.
* An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The right to be self employed in the UK
