Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for an experienced a Business Support Officer to provide efficient admin support to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* General office admin, diary management, purchasing goods and services
* Supporting meetings and events, including note-taking
* Handling phone enquiries and providing accurate information
* Maintaining a positive and professional image of the council
* Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Experience needed:
* Experience in a busy office setting
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
* Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience
Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm on a 6 month contract initially
