Here at RFC we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to start or further a career within our small but busy Finance department.

Founded in 2011, Right Fuel Card is a leading UK provider of fleet fuel cards, offering access to all major fuel networks, including EV charging solutions. In 2019, we proudly joined the global Edenred Group and have since established ourselves as an independent fuel card issuer with Edenred Black. Our mission is to simplify, enhance, and optimise fuel management for businesses of all sizes, driven by a commitment to innovation, convenience, and prioritising our customer's needs.

What will you be doing?

· Accurately processing and reconciliating financial data in a timely manner.

· Daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly reconciliations, investigating missed transactions & solving discrepancies.

· Daily reconciliation of 7 bank accounts including supplier payments, allocation of payments against invoices, posting of expense claims, customer refunds and reconciling receipts posted by credit.

· Posting of fuel supplier invoices (large value & volume), investigating anomalies.

· Daily update of stock sheets from notifications and accounting software. Posting of stock invoices and ensuring reconciled back to the accounting system.

· Assist with the daily management of the Accounts inbox.

· Assist with purchase ledger maintenance using our automated accounts payable software, including processing supplier invoices, credit notes, coding an invoice to the relevant cost centre, ensuring the correct VAT allocation per the invoice & entering into the accounting system.

· Daily management of cash requirements including processing all journals to reflect cash movements.

· Preparation and posting of customer credit notes on a weekly basis.

Currently hold or be working towards AAT or equivalent qualification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £24,500.00 per year
