JOB: Due to an internal promotion, a fantastic sales opportunity exists within a growing healthcare SME. As Area Manager for the Midlands region you will you will work across three established product areas and seek opportunities to upsell, cross well and maximise the business presence within their neurosurgery portfolio of devices and consumables. They have excellent training, product support and clinical training to provide education and technical help but candidates will need to demonstrate a passion and aptitude for learning technical products and absorbing clinical information. Typical touch points in the NHS will include Neuro surgeons, Neuro Physiologists, theatre teams, procurement, consultants, nurses. Tasked with growing an existing and focused account base, this is an involved, hands on role with daily travel across the East and West Midlands and also Cambridgeshire. Someone who has sold a device or more technical product into theatres and worked in high pressured environments in hospitals will be at an advantage. A hospital sales person or secondary care Pharmaceutical sales rep who can network, upsell and cross- sell effectively within NHS trusts is a great foundation for this role
For this Area Sales Manager role, we are looking for the following:
6. Healthcare sales background ideally within technical product or therapy area
7. At least 3 years of territory management experience within devices
8. Able to build long lasting clinical relationships
9. Strong company stability on the CV
10. Clinically driven sales person ideally with theatre sales experience
The Package for Area Sales Manager:
11. Basic: up to £64k
12. Commission of £25k (uncapped)
13. Company car

The successful candidate will live on patch, ideally in the Midlands ideal location being Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, or Northampton
