Job description
We are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller in the Nottingham area. Ideally, you'll have experience in the retail and supplier industry, with at least 2-3 years of experience in the role.
As an experienced Credit Controller, you'll confidently be able to do the following:
1. Confident with managing accounts, performing suitable credit checks with new customers and existing accounts.
2. Chasing aged debt, ensuring that there is a reduction in payment delays.
3. Liaising directly with customers over the phone and via email, handling disputes and queries.
4. Escalating accounts if required.
5. Maintaining accuracy of ledgers.
6. Completing month-end reporting.
To be successful for this role, you will need:
7. A minimum of 2-3 years of credit control experience.
8. Confident using Microsoft programs, including Excel.
9. Accuracy even when working under pressure.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to speak with customers on the phone.
11. Be able to work as part of a small team.
