HEAD OF DATA & INSIGTHS – FTC
SALARY – UP TO £110,000
LONDON – HYBRID
We are seeking an experienced Head of Data & Insights to join a growing, mission-driven organisation on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. Reporting into the CFO, this role will lead a small but expanding data team and play a pivotal role in shaping the data strategy during a critical phase of growth. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality insights, embedding robust data processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and develop a data and analytics team, providing clear direction, coaching, and support
* Own and deliver the data roadmap, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational priorities
* Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights
* Oversee the delivery of KPI dashboards, executive reporting, and ad-hoc analysis
* Embed effective request and prioritisation processes for analytics and insights work
* Support the development and adoption of advanced analytics and predictive models
* Work closely with data engineering to guide the evolution of the data platform and tooling
* Champion data quality, governance, and the use of a single source of truth across the organisation
YOUR SKILLS:
* Proven experience leading data, analytics, or insights functions
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
* Excellent analytical and data storytelling capability
* Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and BI tools (Power BI preferred)
* Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Snowflake) Experience managing and developing senior data professionals
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
