As well as supporting strategic discussions and drive initiatives, it is also expected the candidate will have the ability to provide team oversight on tasks including placement as well as offering ideas and direction to colleagues within the team. We will rely on you to: Assist with the renewal of reinsurance programs with a focus on clients from our European region. Meet with clients, as necessary, to learn their needs and maintain/develop strong relationships. Analyse risks and assist with developing solutions for clients' needs. Assist with responding to client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly in order to maintain client satisfaction. Communicate with GC Network, providing knowledge and expertise on Property & Casualty, whilst inform on the latest market trends and entrants in the London market. Demonstrate proficient awareness of market conditions to better serve clients and obtain the best terms from the Markets. Initiate renewal process of placements in good time anticipating and preventing problems when possible. Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance companies to efficiently communicate client demands and requests internally. Delivers daily service to the GC offices and clients for the specific product line that assures that their risk management needs are appropriately met. Implements/manages and maintains a quality post-sales service plan where appropriate. Creates and presents renewal proposals to existing clients and participates in presentations to prospective clients. Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and informs client executives carriers, brokers and/or clients of major development affecting various types of coverage. What you need to have: Property reinsurance experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Business development skills. Strong project management and organisational skills. Solid international (re)insurance market knowledge. The ability and dedication to handle high work volumes at peak times of the year. Ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and industry leaders at all levels (team player). What makes you stand out: Experience of reinsurance programmes across Property & Casualty lines of business. CII qualifications are desirable Account handling end to end. Experience in Treaty Reinsurance. Comparable experience within (re)insurance broking Well-versed in MSOffice software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
