Domestic Assistant — Location: Dereham
Hours: Flexible - Part-time to Full-time (including weekends on rotation)
The Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the residents live in a clean, safe, and pleasant environment. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home, helping to make it a warm and comfortable place to live.
Key duties include:
* Cleaning residents\' rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard.
* Carrying out daily housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
* Managing laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and ensuring linen is fresh and available.
* Supporting infection prevention and control protocols.
* Monitoring and restocking cleaning materials and household supplies.
* Reporting any maintenance, safety, or safeguarding concerns promptly.
* Helping to create a homely and welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and visitors.
