About the role
Agincare is seeking a Care Assistant to join the Edgehill Care Home team in Swindon. The role is part of a bank schedule covering a mix of day, night, weekday and weekend shifts, with a base of 30 hours per week including alternative weekend work.
Responsibilities
* Provide companionship and support, maintaining communication and engagement with residents.
* Assist with personal care, including washing, bathing, showering, dressing and oral care.
* Prompt or administer medications and topical creams.
* Support residents with meals, snacks and beverages, ensuring healthy nutrition.
* Perform light domestic tasks such as cleaning and tidying.
* Assist with mobility, helping residents maintain as much independence as possible.
* Organise social activities, trips out and other recreational events within the home.
Qualifications & Requirements
* At least 12 months right to work in the UK.
* Previous experience working in a care home setting.
* Ability to work a 30‑hour week that includes alternative weekends and cover day, night, weekday and weekend shifts.
* Strong communication skills and a caring, supportive attitude.

* £12.76 per hour.
