Experienced Optical Assistant. If you have previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this role could be perfect for you. Together, we will use your passion for the Specsavers brand and superb customer service skills to create an outstanding store environment for customers and our team.
Our Hexham store needs someone experienced in dispensing up to Multi focal optics.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
* Assist customers with eye tests, frame fitting and dispensing prescription glasses.
* Maintain accurate records and handle IT systems for prescriptions.
* Provide friendly, professional service and product knowledge.
* Support team members and contribute to a productive team culture.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant.
* Passion for providing excellent customer service.
* Strong teamwork and initiative.
* Confidence using IT systems.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* Willingness to step out of comfort zone and embrace new challenges.
* Open to feedback and development.
Desirable Experience
* Fast‑paced customer service environment.
* Experience in optics or audiology business.
* Basic knowledge of optical and audiology terminology.
