Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial settings. A valid driving licence is preferred as travel to various job sites may be required.
Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
* Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with client specifications.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
* Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship.
Experience
* Proven experience in construction painting is essential.
* Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling to various job sites.
