Role Overview:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in managing client relationships and ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards and legal requirements. Working closely with a team of 3 quality administrators, this position will be based in our office in Uxbridge, West London.
Responsibilities:
1. Investigate and resolve complaints related to non-conforming products and services.
2. Address non-conformances raised by the Inspection Department and liaise with customers and suppliers for resolution.
3. Conduct internal quality audits and maintain corrective action registers.
4. Update and maintain the Approved Supplier Register and Equipment Register.
5. Prepare for annual audits and support process improvements.
6. Undertake general administrative duties to support the Quality function.
7. Maintain documentation and records in compliance with standards.
Person Skills and Experience:
8. Effective communication skills with colleagues, participants, and stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
10. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
11. Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001/AS9102.
12. Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) such as ISO 9001/AS9102.
13. Technical drawing experience.
14. Aerospace or Manufacturing background.
15. Problem-solving abilities.
16. Ability to self-manage and work under pressure.
