I am seeking an Onsite IT engineer (12 months fixed-term contract) for an IT recycling business based in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will travel across the UK to deliver, install, and decommission IT equipment for customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Desk setups including cable management, testing, and app downloads
2. Rebuild and installation of furniture and IT equipment, including cable management and testing
3. Setup and operation of a Tech Bar at customer sites, including basic assistance, scheduling, and IT exchange
4. Manage print services, including configuration and safe installation at customer sites
5. Strip assets to component level
6. Asset management
7. Data destruction of components
8. Operate shredder
9. Communicate effectively with project and line managers regarding onsite progress
10. Escalate issues or concerns
11. Ensure high customer satisfaction
