Primary Teacher Required in SEMH School in Chichester.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to become part of a committed team in a Special Primary School in Chichester. This position is paid to scale and demands experience with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and managing severe challenging behaviour.

Role Overview:
As a Primary Teacher, you will be instrumental in crafting meaningful learning experiences for these pupils. Your skills in supporting and guiding children with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour will be essential in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach and inspire pupils, creating a supportive and encouraging educational setting.
2. Implement high-quality teaching and learning practices tailored to the needs of pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour.
3. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members to offer comprehensive pupil support.
4. Set and uphold high expectations for all pupils, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to achieve their potential.

3. Strong in organisational and communication skills, and enjoys working within a team.
4. Ideally, experienced in working with young people who have SEMH and challenging behaviour.

Criteria for the Role:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Proven experience in teaching and supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
3. Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
4. A solid educational background across various subjects.
5. Familiarity with the national curriculum and relevant learning programs.
6. Understanding of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation.
