Internal Sales Executive
Location: Cannock
Salary: Competitive with bonus opportunity
Type: 7:30am 4:30pm Monday Friday.

Based in our office and working closely with the external sales team, this role sits at the very front of our sales engine. Youll be responsible for identifying potential customers, qualifying opportunities, and booking high-quality appointments for the sales consultants.
Youll play a critical role in building and maintaining a strong pipeline, ensuring the field sales team spend their time in front of the right prospects. Working as the Internal Sales Executive, the role also includes attending trade shows and events up to five times per year to support lead generation activity.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively research and identify suitable target organisations, mapping key decision-makers and building detailed prospect profiles
Qualify inbound and outbound leads using a structured lead-scoring process to ensure sales-ready opportunities
Book high-quality appointments for the external sales team via telephone, email, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels
Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, representing the business in a professional and engaging manner
Support marketing activity by delivering targeted outreach and follow-up campaigns
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and regional events (up to five times per year), capturing leads and managing post-event follow-up
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, ensuring a clean and reliable sales pipeline
Work closely with sales and marketing colleagues to meet and exceed appointment-setting targets

Previous experience in internal sales, appointment setting, lead generation, or sales support is desirable but not essential
This role would suit candidates with experience as an Internal Sales Executive, Inside Sales Executive, Sales Development Executive, Business Development Executive, or in a similar office-based sales or appointment-setting role
