You will be part of a large team of Accounts Collections Executive. The main focus of the team is to collect overdue and outstanding debt owed to the business, whilst also helping to resolve account queries and ensuring there is a smooth process from point of order to payment of the account.

This role will provide support to the Account Collections Team within the Finance Department. The Account Collections Team are responsible for mitigating payment and cash risk to the business by chasing and collecting payment of invoices owed to Softcat. The team, and this passionate and numerate individual, builds strong relationships with our customers and works closely with the wider business to achieve individual and team cash collection targets.
As an Account Collections Support, you'll be responsible for:
* Management of high-volume incoming email traffic into a dedicated mailbox for a busy Account Collections team
* Providing administrative support to the whole Account Collections and Collections Operations departments
* Liasing with customers and internal colleagues to check debit/credit card payments against invoices, and take payments/issue refunds by credit/debit card
* Verifying customeer bank details for refund requests
* Completing relevant customer documentation and referring to other internal teams where required

* Proven record of effective time management and prioritisation
* Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
* Effective communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships across the business
