Music / Personal Manager (Hona Costello) — London
Hands-on role for a solo artist with existing press and endorsements. Expenses covered; revenue-share compensation (negotiated and contractual).
About the artist & market:
I’m Hona Costello — artist and model (past work with Sean John) with press and endorsement placements (Billboard, Music Connection, Sony Electronics). Based in Los Angeles but actively building the London market (currently 5,000+ engaged listeners in London and growing every day).
Compensation (clear):
This is not free work. The label covers all project and event expenses (venues, production, travel, etc.). Compensation is a negotiated, written percentage of revenues from music releases, shows, merch and endorsements. No one is expected to work for free — terms will be agreed up front.
What you’ll do
* Handle communication: Answer emails, make calls, follow up with promoters/brands until deals are locked.
* Booking & events: Coordinate venues, hire/manage door staff or event crew, and help run shows smoothly.
* Studio sessions: Book studio time, confirm engineers/musicians, keep calendars up to date, send reminders.
* Project & releases: Help organise timelines and tasks for singles, videos, merch drops and press kits.
* Face-to-face presence: Be confident talking to people at events, meetings and on behalf of the artist.
* Reminders & organisation: Keep systems in place so nothing slips through the cracks.
* Weekly FaceTime: Must be able to check in via FaceTime at least once a week to stay aligned and on track
Who you are
* You don’t need years in the industry — hunger, hype, and love for hip-hop come first.
* Outgoing, confident, and comfortable talking to people in person and on the phone.
* Organised enough to keep track of tasks, follow-ups and deadlines.
* Good with email, social platforms, and basic tools (Google Drive, calendars, task apps).
* Ambitious — you want to grow with an artist who is serious about breaking through.
Why join
* Work directly with an artist who has traction (press, endorsements, streams, 5k+ London audience already).
* Build real experience in the music business without needing to “wait your turn.”
* Label covers expenses — your compensation is a cut of revenues from the career you help build.
* Be part of something that can scale fast if you bring the energy and consistency.
